Weifang Entrepreneurs Association (hereinafter referred to as the "Association") is a municipal-level, collective, and non-profit social organization, formally approved by the Weifang Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of ChinaCPC and the Weifang Municipal People’s Government. It is composed of distinguished entrepreneurs from the city on a voluntary basis.

The Association was officially launched on 1 March 2025, with Mr. Jiang Bin, Chairman of Goertek Inc., elected as its President. Its governance structure comprises:

·20 Vice Chairs, representing the top 20 enterprises by revenue in Weifang;

·67 Board Directors, representing the top 67 enterprises by revenue;

·205 members in total, all representing the top 205 enterprises by revenue in the city.

Among the membership, 186 represent industrial enterprises — precisely the top 186 by revenue in Weifang's industrial sector. Together, these enterprises account for 65% of the city's total industrial revenue.

In accordance with the Constitution of the CPC, a Party Committee has been established within the Association, under whose comprehensive guidance all its activities are conducted.

I. Core Functions

(i) Protect the legitimate rights and interests of entrepreneurs, provide legal and compliance support, assist entrepreneurs in navigating challenges, and mediate commercial disputes;

(ii) Communicate entrepreneurs' opinions and appeals to government bodies, serve as a bridge for dialogue, participate in the development of laws, regulations, and policies affecting entrepreneurs, and advise on major city-level productivity planning and project development;

(iii) Regularly interpret and promote government policies;

(iv) Facilitate supply-demand matchmaking through various events and maintain dynamic supply-demand listings;

(v) Organize participation in domestic and international trade fairs and exhibitions, supporting pre-event matching, onsite facilitation, and post-event follow-up;

(vi) Foster entrepreneurship development through training, exchanges, and advisory services;

(vii) Encourage compliance with laws and regulations, promote self-discipline and market order, advocate integrity in business, reinforce social responsibility, and safeguard employees' rights;

(viii) Strengthen institutional development, encourage active membership participation, promote collaboration with trade associations and other social organizations across the city, and enhance synergy across sectors;

(ix) Improve the institutional capacity of the Association through ideological, organizational, professional, and work-style development, ensuring high-quality support for entrepreneurs;

(x) Follow guidance from national and provincial associations such as the China Enterprise Directors Association and the Shandong Entrepreneurs Association, and implement assigned tasks.

II. Key Initiatives

(i) Seek support from government leadership, create green channels for members, and facilitate practical benefits;

(ii) Convey member concerns efficiently and serve as liaison between entrepreneurs and municipal/county-level governments;

(iii) Engage with economic authorities at national, provincial, and municipal levels to provide timely policy guidance;

(iv) Connect members with high-end global resources and host “Academician Salons” tailored to sector-specific needs;

(v) Support government and enterprise efforts in market expansion and order acquisition, including through cross-border e-commerce platforms;

(vi) Promote integrated financial services to bolster enterprise growth;

(vii) Facilitate access to international healthcare and executive education resources for entrepreneurs;

(viii) Collaborate in building legal service mechanisms to protect entrepreneurs' rights;

(ix) Work with stakeholders to promote a culture of respect for entrepreneurship and enhance the social recognition of entrepreneurs;

(x) Identify and leverage member resources for shared initiatives, support industry chain investment, and promote business-led investment promotion;

(xi) When feasible, establish platforms for industrial internet, integrated finance, advanced training, and standardization—enhancing services for members and enterprises while ensuring the Association's financial sustainability;

(xii) Establish the Weifang Entrepreneurs International Alliance (WEIA).
