As the years pass and new chapters unfold, progress is made and achievements are made. The Weishui River surges forward, and the City of Owls is filled with spring. On this occasion of the Spring Festival of the Year of the Horse in the 13th Chinese lunar calendar, at a crucial juncture when the "15th Five-Year Plan" is about to take off, we are filled with enthusiasm and joy as we celebrate the first anniversary of the establishment of the Weifang Entrepreneurs Association.

Looking back, we see a period of vibrant achievements. One year ago, under the strong leadership of the Party Committee and the Municipal People's Government, with the meticulous guidance of the National and Provincial Enterprise Associations (Entrepreneur Associations) and the Municipal Industry and Information Technology Bureau, the Weifang Entrepreneurs Association came into being and set off on its journey. Since then, a brand-new platform that gathers the wisdom of entrepreneurs, pools their strength, and serves their development has taken root and thrived on the land of the City of Owls. Over the past year, we have closely adhered to the requirements of the Party Committee and the Municipal People's Government for "no interference when there is no matter, and responding to requests promptly", always remembering our original aspiration and mission of "serving entrepreneurs, empowering enterprise development, and assisting the high-quality development of Weifang". We have worked side by side with all member enterprises, facing challenges together, and taking the lead in the battle against risks and promoting development, achieving high-quality completion of the annual targets and marking the successful conclusion of the "14th Five-Year Plan", while also preparing fully for the launch of the "15th Five-Year Plan".

This year, we have strengthened our foundation and united our efforts, flourishing in the process of continuous progress. The Association has always placed the construction of standardization, institutionalization, and professionalization in a prominent position, continuously improving the governance structure, enhancing operational efficiency, and striving to build a benchmark for social organizations with warmth, strength, and influence. Through various distinctive activities such as seminars and exchanges, we have created a platform for entrepreneurs to exchange ideas and build consensus, making the Association not only a "safe haven" for serving enterprises but also a "spiritual home" where entrepreneurs can support each other and discuss development. Time and again, sincere exchanges and ideological collisions have gathered the powerful force of "a million horses galloping", and the Association's influence, cohesion, and appeal have been increasing day by day.

This year, we have dedicated ourselves and provided precise services, demonstrating our commitment. The Association has always anchored itself on the principle of "serving enterprises", taking the needs of members as the first signal, continuously improving the service system and enhancing service quality, ensuring that warmth and strength reach the hearts of enterprises. We have established a "direct train" for government-enterprise communication, actively connecting with departments such as the Development and Reform Commission, Industry and Information Technology Bureau, Taxation Bureau, and Finance Bureau, and establishing a regular communication mechanism to ensure that preferential policies are accurately delivered and efficiently implemented. We have built a "strong magnetic field" for resource integration, releasing the "Weifang Entrepreneurs Association, Weifang Entrepreneurs International Alliance Initiative" at the Weifang Entrepreneurs Conference, initiating the establishment of the Weifang Entrepreneurs International Alliance, setting up 14 overseas branches globally, and leading with the entrepreneurial spirit of "daring to be the first, innovating and opening up, specializing and persevering, and being trustworthy and virtuous", integrating high-quality resources and building international bridges, forming a comprehensive membership network covering both the local area and other regions, to provide support for "Weifang enterprises going global" and "Weifang products going global", enabling Weifang entrepreneurs to thrive on the global stage. These solid footprints not only witness the vivid practice of the Association serving enterprises, but also interpret the resounding vow of Weifang entrepreneurs going global.

This year, we have considered the overall situation and taken on heavy responsibilities, demonstrating the strength of Weifang in service development. Gore Group has been deeply engaged in intelligent hardware, leading the industry transformation with technological innovation, demonstrating the strong core strength of Weifang manufacturing; Weichai Group has focused on the main business of power equipment, achieving breakthroughs in core technologies to establish a benchmark in the high-end manufacturing industry; Haomai Group has specialized in mechanical manufacturing, leading the market segment with extreme innovation; Huajian Aluminum Industry has adhered to the real economy, strengthening its foundation through green transformation; Hongrun Petrochemical has focused on extending and strengthening the industrial chain, exploring new paths in the process of transformation and upgrading; Delisi Group has specialized in the food industry, enhancing the quality and polishing the golden brand of Weifang. From the acceleration of the formation of a trillion-level industrial cluster to the vigorous growth of "specialized, refined, distinctive, and innovative" enterprises, from the renewal and transformation of traditional industries to the emergence and growth of emerging industries, member enterprises have always been the main force of high-quality development of Weifang's industries. In 2026, 32 member enterprises entered the "2025 Shandong Private Enterprises 200 Strong List", ranking second in the province. Among them, 17 entered the top 100, ranking first in the province; 14 were included in the top 100 for employment absorption, 13 were included in the top 100 for innovation, and 14 were included in the top 100 for the service industry, ranking first, second, and third respectively in the province. These sets of shining data are the best evidence of the association's willingness to take responsibility, and the most beautiful anthem of the spirit of Weifang entrepreneurs.

The journey has been extraordinary, and the achievements have not come easily. The fundamental reason lies in the strong leadership of the municipal committee and the municipal government, the strong support of all departments and all sectors of society, and the hard work and teamwork of all member enterprises. The wind is favorable, it is the right time to set sail. Let's gallop forward towards the future. This year marks the beginning of the "15th Five-Year Plan", and Weifang is at a critical stage of striving for a trillion city and building a regional sub-center city. With profound industrial foundation, superior business environment, and huge development potential, it provides a broad stage for entrepreneurs to achieve their dreams. The association will fully implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and its subsequent plenary sessions, set the goal of "leading and pioneering", adhere to the original aspiration and take on the mission, promote all work to reach new heights and write a new chapter. We will act as the "mother's support", provide precise empowerment to warm enterprises. Continuously deepen government-enterprise communication, promote the implementation of preferential policies for enterprises; focus on the pain points of enterprise development, carry out targeted training and resource connections, improve financial services, strengthen legal protection, and enhance the warmth and depth of services, so that every entrepreneur can feel the warmth and strength of "home". We will build a "heart connection bridge", unite efforts to promote development. Deepen the construction of the international alliance of entrepreneurs, expand overseas layout, promote the coordinated efforts and win-win cooperation of upstream and downstream industries in the industrial chain, create a high-quality ecosystem of resource sharing and cooperation advancement, so that enterprises can stimulate new momentum in interconnection and collaboration, and create new situations in synergy and collaboration, forming a powerful synergy of "thousands of horses galloping". We will hold high the "pioneer flag", innovate as a means of taking responsibility. Publicize the advanced deeds of outstanding entrepreneurs, create a thick atmosphere of respecting and valuing business, guiding entrepreneurs to adhere to the real economy, focus on the main business, and be courageous in innovation, actively fulfill social responsibilities, and demonstrate the responsibility of Weifang enterprises in rural revitalization and public welfare undertakings, allowing the spirit of entrepreneurs to shine even more brightly in the new era.

The old year has unfolded a thousand layers of brocade, and the new journey is advancing towards a hundred-foot pole.
